Dr. Philip Denema is a graduate of Sacred Heart University with a B.S in Athletic Training in 2004, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2007.  After graduating he sought out additional training in manual therapy techniques, eventually going on to receive his certification in spinal manipulation in 2014 from the Spinal Manipulation Institution.  He completed his Fellowship training through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy from 2014-2015, becoming a FAAOMPT fellow in October of 2015 as well as getting certified in Dry needling (Cert. DN) in 2015.   During this time, he also earned his Diploma in Osteopractic, of which he is 1 of the original 70 Osteopractors to receive the credential worldwide.  He has also gone on to receive a certification in vestibular rehabilitation (Cert. VRS).  In August of 2016 he opened Spine & Sports Physical Therapy in Ridgefield CT.  Through his clinical practice and advanced training, he has developed a unique treatment approach that blends manual therapy into a systems integration approach that looks at interactions amongst all the systems of the body and how we can most effectively address pain and functional limitations.
